Early Bird Workshop: What Do Employees REALLY Think of Their Auto 401(k) Plan?
Gain valuable insights into employee satisfaction with automatic 401(k)s from a new study conducted by Harris Interactive^® on behalf of Retirement Made Simpler (RMS), a coalition formed by AARP, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Retirement Security Project (RSP). In addition, this session presents highlights of an AARP survey of mid-sized companies, including the following issues: how familiar mid-sized employers are with automatic 401(k)s, how likely they are to implement an auto 401(k) plan in 2008, their major reasons for adopting automatic 401(k) plans and what makes them nervous, how important companies believe financial education is once a company goes auto and what mid-sized employers need help understanding—and the best way to deliver this information.
