The Berkeley Treasury Management Program was developed by Dr. Steven F. Maier, who created the highly respected treasury programs at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Leading the seminars are Michael Alfonsi and Richard Richardson, who together have over 60 years of cash and treasury management experience and have spoken at over 800 executive education programs.

Participants have the opportunity to learn from some of the most respected practitioners in the treasury management field, many of whom are recognized as the nation’s best in their areas of expertise.

All speakers have been carefully chosen for their ability to teach and to present materials that can be put to use immediately.

The Berkeley Treasury Management Program is a joint effort of the Berkeley Center for Executive Development at the University of California’s Haas School of Business and Phoenix-Hecht. Phoenix-Hecht is a leading provider of market research, education and information products to the financial services industry.

The Fundamentals track is intended for executives who at a minimum have a general knowledge of financial principles and whose responsibilities include cash or treasury management. A background in treasury management is not necessary. The Fundamentals track is especially appropriate for those who wish to review for the Association for Financial Professionals’ certified treasury professional (CTP) exam.

The Advanced track is for practitioners with at least three years’ experience who want to update their knowledge.

Participants can select sessions from both tracks, although they should enroll in the track that is most appropriate to their level of experience.

All programs qualify for a minimum of 13 CPE credits.
