The 2009 UNC Treasury Management
Program is an excellent opportunity
for the corporate practitioner to stay
abreast of the latest advances and
trends in treasury management.
Featuring two distinct tracks, these
programs are designed to benefit both
those who are new to the treasury
management function as well as more
experienced practitioners.
The UNC Treasury Management
Program was developed by Dr. Steven
F. Maier, a UNC adjunct professor
who created the highly respected
treasury programs at Duke University and the University of California at
Berkeley. Leading the program is
Richard Richardson, who has more
than 30 years of cash and treasury
management experience and has
spoken at 300+ educational programs.
The speaking faculty features some of
the most respected practitioners in the
treasury management field, all
carefully chosen for their ability to
teach and present materials that can
be used immediately. Similarly, the
curriculum has been developed to
focus on key areas critical to the
success of your job.
The Program is a joint effort of UNC
Kenan-Flagler Business School and
Phoenix-Hecht, a leading provider
of market research, education and
information products to the financial
services industry. The UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School has built a
worldwide reputation in executive
development. Its programs are
consistently rated among the best in
national surveys for teaching quality,
content, customer service, real-world
applicability, price and payback. The
UNC Treasury Management Program is part of that proud tradition.

Fundamentals of Treasury
Management is intended for
executives who have general
knowledge of financial principles
and who have cash or treasury
responsibilities. Advanced Topics
in Treasury Management is for
practitioners with at least three years
of experience.
The Program’s unique design allows
you to choose topics from both tracks
to tailor a program to meet your
individual needs. The limited class
size preserves the small group
learning experience that makes
these executive forums the best in
the industry. Fundamentals and
Advanced Topics are offered in both
the spring and fall—March 22–25,
2009, and October 18–21, 2009.
Participants can select sessions from both tracks, although they should enroll in the track that is most appropriate to their level of experience.
