About Us
A
Proven Track Record
For
more than 20 years, University Conference Services has developed,
organized and produced executive education conferences and seminars
in conjunction with three of the nation's top business schools:
the Stern School of Business at New York University, the Kenan-Flagler
Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
and the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley.
Widely recognized for their quality and educational integrity, UCS
programs are done in collaboration with firms that are leaders in
their respective industries, including: Aflac, Ameriprise Financial,
Aon Consulting, Charles Schwab, CIGNA, DWS Scudder, Fidelity Investments®,
JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services, MassMutual Financial Group, Mercer
Health & Benefits, Merrill Lynch, Mutual of Omaha, Principal
Financial Group, Prudential Financial, T. Rowe Price Retirement
Services, Inc., The Hartford, Vanguard, Wachovia and Willis. Firms
such as these serve as conference sponsors, providing expertise
and support that enable UCS to maintain the high standards for which
our conferences are known.
Today, UCS produces eight major conferences with
nationwide audiences and three regional seminars. Combined, these programs annually draw in excess of 3,500 participants.
Just as important, our programs are considered the "best of breed," typically earning 98% to 100% approval ratings
from participants.
A Reputation for Drawing the
Right Audience
The hallmark of University Conference Services'
programs is that the target audience always far outnumbers the vendors who attend. By agreement with our university
partners, we limit the number of sponsorships for each program and do not accept registrations from non-sponsoring
vendors. This "no outside vendors allowed" policy creates an environment that encourages discussion and peer-to-peer
exchanges. Add to this UCS' focus on real world education featuring case studies and presentations by speakers
who are experts in their fields, and you see why UCS programs have earned a reputation for quality that sets them
apart from those of competitors.
