To view a PDF, you must have Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader is free and available to download at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html [off-site]
After downloading the reader, click on the link to the PDF and it will automatically open.

What if I run into problems printing a PDF file?
If you are having trouble printing a PDF file from the site, first be sure that you have the latest version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. If you have the latest version and you can view the article correctly on screen but cannot print it, do the following:
- With the PDF file open in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, choose "Print" from the File menu.
- Windows Users: Check the "Print as Image" option in the Print dialog.
Macintosh Users: Change the setting for the popup menu at the top of the dialog from General to Acrobat, and select "Print as Image" as the print method.
- Click "Print."

When I try to open a PDF file, a blank page is opened!
Download the PDF file first and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Try: Instead of opening the file "on the fly" in your browser, save the file to your computer and open it with Adobe Acrobat:
- PC users: Right-click on the Download link and choose the option that says "Save Target As..." (Explorer) or "Save Link As..." (Netscape).
- Mac users should hold the mouse button down on the link to get these same options.

I was able to download the file to my hard drive, but I am having trouble printing PDFs using Adobe Acrobat on Macintosh or Windows. What can I do?
It's possible that your printer doesn't have enough installed memory to handle an entire PDF, especially one that contains a lot of images. Try printing the file to a printer with more memory, or, alternatively:
Try: You must be using at least version 3.01 of the Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
Try: Printing one page at a time.
Try: Printing with the 'Print as Image' option selected.
